Defense Minister arrives Moscow carrying a message from al-Maliki

The Ministry of Defense of Iraq, Thursday, for the arrival of Secretary of Defense Agency Saadoun al-Dulaimi, to the Russian capital Moscow, noting that al-Dulaimi, carrying a message from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the security situation in Iraq and the region.
The ministry said in a statement, received the Agency for News News (et) a copy of it, "The Minister of Defense Agency Saadoun al-Dulaimi visited the Russian capital Moscow, carrying with him a message from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to President Vladimir Putin, President of the Federal Republic of Russia," indicating that the message "related to the development Relations between the two countries and the evolution of the political and security situation in Iraq and the region. "
The ministry said that al-Dulaimi, "will also meet Russian Defense Minister to discuss the prospects of accelerating supplement the Iraqi armed forces and weapons systems, advanced Russian military."
Russia had supplied Iraq over the past month, dozens of combat aircraft (C-Khoi 25), at a time when Iraq is hot are conditions of security control organization Islamic State of Iraq, known as "Daash" areas in the provinces of Nineveh, Salahuddin and Diyala.
