Reuters: Egypt nearing an agreement with Iraq to import rawNur News / agencies
said the Reuters news agency said Tuesday, quoting Egyptian Minister of Petroleum for an agreement soon with Iraq to import crude.
President of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation Tariq al-Hadidi said on Tuesday that "Egypt near deal on the import of crude from Iraq and is looking to conclude similar deals with other countries."
Egypt is in talks with Iraq to import one million barrels of crude oil a month for a year.
Hadidi said earlier this month that the oil will be refined in Egypt.
