[size=45]Today, Thursday, the head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, responded to a statement by Senator Lindsey Graham, considering that it incites new conflicts and wars.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Abadi said in a post on the X platform: “I reject what Senator Lindsey Graham stated when he said: ‘The Shiite doctrine is based on killing all Jews,’ and I see it as an incitement to new conflicts and wars that only serve extremists.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, "Shiite Muslims have been a peaceful nation throughout history that believes in peace and coexistence among all religions and sects. Perhaps the Shiites throughout history have been the greatest victims of fanaticism and extremism."[/size]
[size=45]He added, "Graham must not deliberately confuse the cards between the beliefs of religions and sects and the political and interest-based conflicts taking place today, and we must not move towards establishing hostility between nations, and we must be keen on peace in the service of humanity, and we must stand seriously and honestly against any injustice, aggression and violation of rights against peoples, including the Palestinian people, to ensure security, peace and good for humanity."[/size]
[size=45]He concluded by saying: “Our Holy Quran says: ‘Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans - those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.’” (Surat Al-Baqarah: 62)[/size]
