Karbalayi warns from deteriorated security situation due to prisoners’ escape

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Representative of the Religious Authority, Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalayi, assured that the escape of the prisoners from Abu Gharib and Taji prisons is a threat for the security of Iraq and the Region.
In the Friday Prayer at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussien in Karbala, he warned “The prisoners’ escape will result in deteriorated security situation in the future.”
He described the operation as “A scandal because the two prisons are well protected while the terrorists managed to free the prisoners within hours.”
“Such operations do not take place in countries that have security forces less than in Iraq,” he concluded.
