    Prime Minister: Corruption is not less dangerous than terrorism

    Confirmed Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, yesterday, that corruption is no less dangerous than terrorism, pointing out that liberation battles did not prevent the reform efforts in the economy.
    Ebadi said, during his speech in Iraq Energy Forum, yesterday, said that "corruption is not less dangerous than terrorism , " noting that "our confrontation with terrorism and liberate us land did not prevent us from the direction of reform in the economy and the rest of the institutions."
    Abadi stressed that "Iraq has enormous potential and opportunities for promising, spacious and the government has a great keenness to encourage investment."
    The prime minister added that " the government is seeking to take advantage of every barrel of oil to serve the citizen and the development of the country and from every gas flame was wasted 90 years ago. Where we have the first time to benefit from this gas."
    Abadi pointed to " the importance of the transformation of the manufacturing industries and create job opportunities for young people and give hope to them , " noting that " the government is committed to the partnership between the public sector and the private sector."
    The prime minister explained that "billions of dollars previously lost due to the loss of planning , " he said, adding that " the government is moving toward building a strong Iraqi economy for the advancement of the country and not rely on a single source."
    Among Abadi , that " the state perceives it evolves alone is the wrong state and the belief that you imagine it would be far away from terrorism in isolation from the region Vaatqadha wrong too."
    The prime minister pointed to "We are embarking on a new phase, in which the country can move forward , " calling "conference to supplement the government with more ideas to develop their investment plans."
    In another context, said House Speaker Salim al - Jubouri that "Iraq Energy Forum is a great opportunity to provide investments and capabilities of the state to expand the economic base."
    Jubouri said that "Iraq is seeking to achieve new resources for the budget rather than relying on oil revenues only, which puts the future of Iraq in front of great challenges and dilemma that we seek to reach solutions."
    He added Jubouri that "Iraq over the past two years , the suffering of the big drop in oil prices and possible dilemmas exceeded through the required development plans and through oil wealth management as part of the solutions."
    The president of the House of Representatives that "Parliament seeks through various legislation to increase support for the economy, and he will soon vote on the national oil company and others in addition to what preceded it from the legislation."
    He Alahbura that "oil and gas law since 2007 has not been decided which is the backbone of the oil and is still pending and was withdrawn several times and parliament did not effort in several Aal laws contribute to boost the economy and energy ahead of legislation."
    Through Jubouri, expressed "thanks to the efforts to develop the oil sector, in particular to increase reserves of Iraq to 153 billion barrels." He also praised " the cooperation between the federal government and OPEC."
