    Kuwait's ambassador to Iraq, Salim Ghasab al-Zamanan, said Tuesday that the local government in the Iraqi capital Baghdad has pledged to provide all facilities required for Kuwaiti companies wishing to work and invest in them.
    This came during the meeting of the ambassador with the governor of Baghdad, Atwan al-Atwani in the office of the latter yesterday evening in the presence of a number of members of the Capital Council.
    "During his meeting with the Governor of Baghdad, Atwan al-Atwani, the governor expressed his keenness to increase the volume of economic and investment cooperation between the fat," said Gusab in a statement on Tuesday (May 9, 2017). And to overcome the obstacles that prevent the entry of Kuwaiti investments to Baghdad.
    He added that the governor had presented proposals and ideas worth transferring to Kuwait for consideration, adding that he also discussed with the governor ways to develop and strengthen relations between the two countries.
    The governor of Baghdad, for his part, that Iraq is on the stage of work and reconstruction and investment after the victory on the organization of a supporter, and his country is in dire need of the contribution of Kuwaiti companies in the reconstruction campaign expected.
