Revealed the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq Salem Ghassab Zamanan, on Tuesday, the local government pledged to the province of Baghdad to provide all the facilities required for the Kuwaiti companies wishing to work and invest.
He explained Zamanan, in a press statement during a meeting with the governor of the capital Baghdad Atwan Atwani in the last office in the presence of a number of members of the DC Council, he said that « the governor expressed his eagerness to increase the volume of economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and overcome the obstacles that prevent the entry of Kuwaiti investments to Baghdad».
The Kuwaiti ambassador said that «offers and ideas presented by the governor worthy transferred to the State of Kuwait for consideration noting that they also discussed ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries».
In turn, Atwani said that «Iraq is entering a phase of work, reconstruction and investment after the victory over the so - called (Daesh) which is in dire need of contribution of Kuwaiti companies in the upcoming reconstruction campaign».
