Senate Jordanians for their hosts Rivlin: We are from the country's peace Natick hero, King Hussein Bin Talal, the peace and the country's cooperation and tender, the country of peace and tolerance

Head of State, Reuven Rivlin, received on Wednesday at its headquarters in Jerusalem, a delegation of tribal leaders from different areas in Jordan, most notably: Irbid, Zarqa and Amman, came to Israel to conduct a tour duration 5 days to get to know the Jewish state and Israeli society closely.

The meeting was attended by the Senate President and representatives from the Israeli and Jordanian Foreign Ministry. Israeli President spoke with the Jordanian delegation about his childhood in Jerusalem, touching upon the translations provided by the father of the Hebrew literature, most notably the translation of the Qur'an and the story of "One Thousand and One Nights" for Hebrew.



Rivlin added: "Cooperation between Israel and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan stems from the understanding that our destiny is to live together in this country." He continued, "We believe in the right of every person to worship God according to his law. When you visit Jerusalem will see how the Muslim pilgrimage to mosques, and churches to Christians, and Jews to the synagogue. We have to focus on what unites us rather than what divides us."



He thanked the Jordanian guests Israeli President on hospitality, saying, "We are Natick from the country's champion of peace, King Hussein, the country of the peace and cooperation and tender, the country of peace and tolerance. We have come to Israel in implementation of the peace process and for the Hashemite leadership in our country. We believe that peace will prevail in the region and all of us will live in peace and love. "
