Urgent….Ministerial Committee: New General Pensions law to be based on years of service

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministerial Committee formed to prepare the New General Pensions law announced that the new law will be based on the years spent by the employee in service.
A statement by the Committee received by IraqiNews.com cited “The new law will involve all the employees in the State starting from the President till the simplest employee.”
Baghdad and some other provinces witnessed demonstrations calling to cancel the pensions of MPs and the three Presidencies on last Saturday
