    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iran condemned the latest bombings that took place in Baghdad.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Iranian Mehr News Agency quoted the spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Marthiya Afkham, as saying “The Islamic Republic of Iran denounces the crimes committed in Iraq which aim to target the national unity in Iraq and are unjustified and against humanity.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“Iran supports the efforts of the Iraqi government to eliminate terrorism,” she added, expressing her hope to “Defeat terrorism by the Iraqis according to the instructions of their political and religious leaders and to sustain stability and security in Iraq.”[/ltr]
