    The four Arab countries boycott of Qatar said on Thursday the Doha rejected demands proof of groups linked to "terrorist" and it will take new measures against it .
    Issued Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain , a joint statement quoted by the official media in the four countries it said that the list of 13 demand has become null and it would take legal, economic and new political action against Qatar.
    The four countries said that the Qatari government ruined diplomatic efforts to resolve the dispute , although its refusal to confirm the demands of continuing to seek to sabotage and undermine the security and stability in the region.
    It added that the actions taken by the four countries that target the Government of Qatar and not its people. It did not give details of the countries the date of the announcement of the new steps or what it would entail.
    The foreign ministers of the four countries ministers in Cairo on Wednesday after the deadline , which reached ten days to the end of the implementation of their demands. He described the response Doha as a "negative" and lacks substance.
    Since last month , countries of diplomatic relations and transport links were cut with Qatar as it accuses of backing terrorism and the alliance with Iran 's rival in the region. Doha denies the charges.
    Among the demands that were directed to Qatar to stop the support of the Muslim Brotherhood and the closure of Al - Jazeera and the closure of a Turkish military base in Doha and reduce the level of relations with Iran.
    On the other side of the US State Department said on Thursday that the United States is increasingly concerned that the dispute between Qatar and other Arab countries facing an impasse may continue for a long time or rages.
    The ministry said Foreign Minister Rex Tillerson plans to visit Kuwait , which is mediating in the dispute on Monday, highlighting the US concerns about the crisis involving key Middle East allies.
    US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis discussed the importance of easing the tension in a telephone conversation with Khalid al - Attiyah and Qatari Minister of State for Defense on Thursday.
    Said ministry spokeswoman Heather Noert in a press briefing , "We remain deeply concerned about the cooperation between Qatar and the GCC situation."
    The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) in a statement that Mattis discuss the status of relations between the Gulf states and " the importance of not to escalate the tension" in contact with Al - Attiyah.
    The Pentagon added that the officials "confirmed the strategic security partnership" between their countries and Matisse stressed the importance of Qatar 's contribution to the coalition that led the United States to fight the Islamic state.
