Palestinians are angry at Israel's refusal to remove the electronic gates

    21/07/2017

Israeli officials have refused to remove the controversial e-gates that were recently installed to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
And devices to detect metal machines at the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the cameras will be placed outside and directed to the inside.
Electronic gates were installed to bolster security following a deadly attack that killed two Israeli policemen, the three bombers last week.
Security restrictions imposed by Israel have angered Palestinians, with clashes with Israeli security forces overnight which wounded dozens of people.
Israeli authorities prevented Palestinians under the age of 50 from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for Friday prayers in an attempt to avoid clashes.
It also prevented the entry of buses crowded with Muslim worshipers to Jerusalem from Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Last Saturday, Israeli authorities closed the Temple Mount after an attack by three Palestinian militants.
