    Minister of Labor: The Insurance Law will consolidate the provisions of public retirement in the public and private sectors

    Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani said on Wednesday that the draft social insurance law voted by the Council of Ministers yesterday will pay employees in the private sector a pension equivalent to their counterparts in the government sector and will work to move the pension to the back in the event of the death of a retired worker.

    Al-Sudani said in a statement to the Ministry of Labor that the Ministry of Labor was keen to submit proposals in favor of raising the standard of living for workers in the private sector in order to shift the job compass to alleviate the pressure on the public job in the state, .

    "The new law will include regulating the work of the informal private sector, which constitutes a large percentage of the Iraqi labor market and is covered by the privileges stipulated by the new law."

    The Minister of Labor that "the new law includes the existence of health insurance and insurance in various forms, which represents a qualitative leap to correct and support the private sector in Iraq." Ending / 25
