Parliament votes to amend the provincial law and considers the validity of the membership of some MPs

The House of Representatives, Saturday, its regular session to vote on the law of the provinces not organized in the province and consider the appeals filed on the health of the membership of some deputies and discuss other laws.
The Council said in a statement received "Trend Press" a copy of it, "The Council holds its meeting, today, its 11th of the first legislative term of the fourth legislative year to vote on the draft amendment to the Third Law of Governorates not organized in the region No. (21) for the year 2008 (Article 12), and vote on the draft law on the residence of foreigners (the Security and Defense Committee, the Legal Committee) (55 articles), and consider the appeals filed on the health of the membership of some deputies.
The statement added that "the meeting also includes the presentation of a report and discussion of the draft law of ratification of the Convention on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Economy and Investment) (2 article) Elections No. (11) for the year 2007 (Legal Committee) (Article 2) ".
The session will also present a report and discussion of the proposed amendment to the Law of Ownership No. (25) for the year 1960 (the Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee) (3 articles), and a report and discussion of the draft law of the Council of the Union (the Legal Committee, the Committee of Regions and Governorates not organized in the region) Article).
The statement also pointed out that "the session also includes presenting a report and discussion of the draft law on appeal in favor of the law in the provisions and decisions concerning real estate (the legal committee, the committee of agriculture, water and marshes, the finance committee, the committee of deportees and the displaced) To their areas (the Committee of Expatriates and Displaced Persons).
