Sumer News: Baghdad .. Published (Sumer News) details of social insurance that require the sector to grant retirement to employees.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, on Saturday, the formation of the Social Insurance Authority to implement the law on the private sector, noting that the insurance required the media institutions and the private sector to retire.
"The new social insurance law, which was voted by the Council of Ministers recently, legally binds the media institutions and the private sector to retire in the same way as the state employees," ministry spokesman Ammar Menem said in a press statement. "Companies are the ones that pay pensions from deductions like the public sector, .
"The beneficiary of the law pays 5 % of his salary and the owner of the company or media organization pays 12 % of the monthly salary."
Menem pointed out that "the formation of a special department on behalf of the Social Insurance Authority linked to the Council of Ministers consisting of the General Authority for Retirement and the Department of Retirement and Social Security in the Ministry of Labor to implement this law."
