    Parliamentary: Mufti and Shaways will discuss Baghdad on the referendum


    The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) announced on Monday that a meeting between the Kurdistan region's outgoing president Massoud Barzani and the First Deputy Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Kusrat Rasul Ali will be held to form the delegation to Baghdad.

    "The meeting will be held to determine the personalities of the delegation that will visit Baghdad soon," said the party's deputy, Ashwaq al-Jaf, noting that "the names that were presented in an" informal "manner are the former president of Kurdistan parliament Adnan al-Mufti, "He said.

    She added that "the Supreme Committee will focus on naming personalities of all sects and religions and included all parties, including Turkmen and Christ."

    A high-level delegation from the Kurdistan region of Baghdad, before August 10, is scheduled to visit the Kurdistan region to discuss the issue of a referendum with federal government officials.
