Finance: The investment project is close to the investment
14/9/2017 12:00 am [rtl] Baghdad / morning , Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance Maher Hussein al - Bayati , unveiled a plan to develop their own management skills transformation projects to "automate customs procedures" system, stressing that this project will play a role in the eradication of corruption and the margins of individual diligence in the customs demarcation process. This comes at a time when the Inspector-General pointed out that the Ministry of Finance has begun to draft the budget for 2018 as part of the objectives of Prime Minister Haider Abadi's plan to maximize the state's financial resources and expand and diversify sources of non-oil revenues. Al-Bayati said in a special statement to Al-Sabah to complete the procedures of transferring the investment project for the automation soon, in order to ensure the conduct of the procedures and work automatically and accurately and properly and with the least possible error, pointing out that the project will fight corruption and linking work in the customs services at the country's land and sea ports And air in a unified electronic system to calculate customs duties, taxes and insurance electronically. Al-Bayati pointed out that "the investment project, in its entirety, will be funded by the company to which the project will apply" without paying the state a penny. The Inspector-General explained that, upon the instructions of Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abbadi, two committees were formed by order of Diwani, the first in the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the second under his chairmanship in the Ministry of Finance with the assistance of an expert nominated by the United Nations offices contracted with the Iraqi Government to benefit from his experience in drafting draft requirements of the system Automation and recruitment of foreign companies specialized to submit their investment proposals.
