    Economy News - Follow-up
The Russian embassy in Tehran has recommended that Russian citizens refrain from traveling to Iran “until the situation returns to normal.”
“Due to the worsening situation in Iran, the Russian Embassy recommends that Russian citizens temporarily refrain from traveling to Iran until the situation returns to normal,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia is conducting intensive contacts with all parties in the Middle East, and that it calls on everyone to exercise restraint.
“We have contacts with all parties to the conflict, we continue to have these contacts and we call on all parties to exercise restraint in light of what is happening, and of course we condemn any actions that lead to the death of civilians,” Peskov said in response to a question about what measures Moscow intends to take regarding the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, and whether Russia will support Iran in the event of a large-scale conflict with Israel.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced yesterday, Tuesday, that it had carried out an attack against Israel with dozens of missiles, in response to the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, and the commander of the Iranian Quds Force in Lebanon, Abbas Nilforoushan. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard statement said that the ballistic missiles targeted important bases and headquarters in Israel.
For its part, the Israeli army said that the Iranian attack “will have consequences” and that Israel has plans at the military level.
