Member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiath Al-Surji, confirmed today, Thursday, the party's endeavor to win the elections and form the next Kurdistan Regional Government with the participation of all political parties.
Al-Surji told Al-Maalouma, "The size of the Kurdish parties is still unknown, and this matter will become clear after the elections are held on October 20."
He added, "The Patriotic Union is able to form the new government in the Kurdistan Region with the participation of other parties if they have weight and many seats in parliament."
He said that "the union seeks for the next government in Kurdistan to be formed by all political parties present in the region."
He explained, "This approach is the opposite of the Democratic Party, which wants to monopolize power and go with a majority government." End 25N
