{Politics: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani issued a statement today, Thursday, on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the passing of former President Jalal Talabani, in which he recalled his national and struggle role against dictatorship and tyranny.
According to a statement from his media office received by {Euphrates News}, Al-Sudani praised “Talabani’s honorable career that spanned decades, and his pivotal role alongside Iraqi national figures and forces in establishing a democratic, federal, and constitutional Iraq.”
Al-Sudani said: “The late Mam Jalal left an unforgettable mark in strengthening national unity and cohesion among the various segments of the Iraqi people, stressing that his approach in putting the national interest before partisan and factional interests will remain a source of inspiration for us in political work and the government’s program.”
The Prime Minister pointed out that the principles and values that the late President contributed to promoting have today become a fundamental pillar in building a stable and strong Iraq, which contributes to serving all the Iraqi people in various parts of the country.
