Engineering team to study the reality of the monument of freedom
23/9/2017 12:00 am [rtl]A Spanish engineering team started studying the status of the Freedom Monument in the center of the capital and retrieving the samples from its different parts in order to provide an integrated study to preserve and maintain the damage caused to it. The Secretariat of Baghdad said in a press statement that a team of Spanish engineering continues the process of sampling and conduct a field survey of the monument with the participation of a selection of specialists from the Secretariat of Baghdad and the University of Baghdad to come out with a number of proposals for attention to the monument and the mechanism of maintenance of damage caused by weather and climatic changes and time limitation. The study, which will be provided by the Spanish team, will be the basis for any maintenance that will be carried out for the monument, taking into account the international standards to preserve the identity of the monument and its revival and the value of values and archaeological elements, which are the main pillar to preserve the monument and statues of the capital Baghdad.[/rtl] [rtl][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] [/rtl] |
