Saudi anger at "Twitter" of not receiving Putin to King Salman
Baghdad / Sky Press
Saudi citizens in the social networking site "Twitter" expressed their anger at the lack of reception of Russian President Vladimir Putin, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, in the first visit of the King of Saudi Arabia to Moscow.
Saudi activists said that the way King Salman received in Moscow on Wednesday did not fit the kingdom's size and prestige, and its leader.
Although other two justifications for Putin's absence are justified, and the protocol of the reception ceremony in Russia states that the president is not present at the airport, activists consider this justification "unacceptable in any case."
Activists demanded Putin be treated similarly on his first visit to Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi monarch was received at Moscow airport by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Russia and Saudi Arabia would sign joint investment agreements worth more than $ 3 billion during King Salman's visit to Moscow.
