(Baghdad: al-Furat News) Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji, the arrest of 22 people of sedition promoters in the province of Karbala.
"The current period requires everyone to unite and unite to advance our country and complete the march of victories and not to pay attention to some of the temptation to stir up the atmosphere of sedition," Al-Araji said in a statement to the ministry.
He stressed that "the detachments of the Ministry of Interior competent to arrest 22 people in the holy province of Karbala during attempts to disappoint them aimed at destabilizing the security and stir up sedition."
"The Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is in front of all humanity, regardless of sect, sect or religion, and the policy of insults, slander and curse is far from the creation and ethics of Imam Hussein and his eternal revolution," he said.
He stressed that "the ministry will stand by the lookout for all the ignorant and backward people who want to tear up the unity of our country and stir up the strife of sedition, which does not praise its punishment."
