The US Missile Defense Agency has completed a ground-based Midcourse Defense missile in Alaska in North America.
The IAEA and Boeing Company put the 44th interceptor rocket on the underground missile launch pad at Fort Greeley on November 2, 2017, the agency's news agency quoted General Sam Greaves as saying.
The US Missile Defense Agency ended the deployment of missile defense systems in North America.
US sources said earlier that before the end of 2017 will put 44 interceptor missiles allocated to intercept missiles from North Korea and Iran in Alaska.

Observers believe that the missiles in Alaska are directed first against Russian and Chinese nuclear forces.
"The specifications of these missiles indicate that they target first Russian and Chinese missiles currently available and future, that is, the American missiles in Alaska are directed against the Russian and Chinese nuclear forces," Russian expert Gregory Tishchenko told Sputnik.
The range of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense rocket ranges from 2,000 to 5,500 km and 16.8 meters long, weighing 12.7 tons.
