    Gold futures fell about 0.1% to $ 1286 an ounce

    Gold prices fell on Friday, after the US House of Representatives announced a plan contrary to the new tax reform law, but is heading to record weekly gains for the first time in 4 weeks.
    By 6:50 am GMT, the price of gold futures fell by 0.1 percent to $ 1286 an ounce, but is still near a three-week high.
    While the spot price of yellow metal stabilized at $ 1285.5 an ounce.
    Gold had benefited yesterday from global stock losses and rose to a three-week high as European stocks recorded daily losses since last June. US indexes also fell at the close of trading and the greenback was down against major currencies.
    The Congressional Finance Committee announced yesterday its tax reform plan, which keeps the seven segments of individual taxes in the new law, and cuts the 15% to 12%, while the highest level of 38.5%.
    The House of Representatives' plan, announced last week, includes three segments of the tax on individuals at 12%, 25% and 35%, as well as the richest section may reach 39.6%.
