Thoracic and ventricular diseases had 19 consultation clinics, two in Baghdad and 17 in the governorates. In addition, there are 131 training centers in the country to examine, detect, treat and follow up on tuberculosis patients, noting that there are 1938 health centers throughout the country, 10 percent of which are dedicated to chest diseases to follow up and diagnose suspected cases.
