Baghdad to Kurdistan: to negotiate with you only a collective delegation government and opposition
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The federal government in Baghdad has informed the Kurdish side that it will
not negotiate with any Kurdish party in isolation, the political analyst said.
Hashemi added that "political agreements are underway between the leaders of the Kurdistan region in order to form a delegation in the coming days to negotiate with Baghdad, to solve problems in the region on one hand and the problems of the center with the region on the other."
Hashemi said in a press statement that "the next period may witness the formation of an emergency government in the Kurdistan region and take it upon themselves to negotiate with Baghdad, or hold elections and form a new government,
It shows that "the ongoing demonstrations in northern Iraq may develop and reach the province of Arbil, especially as there is a curse on the President of the region Massoud Barzani by the Kurdish people and not accept it again."
In turn, deputy MP of the Liberal bloc, Mazen Almazni said that the problem of the protests in Kurdistan "will sooner or later resolve the dialogue between the Kurdish parties themselves, and there will be a role of the federal government in this matter by bringing the views and make way for the wise to resolve this crisis.
"The government has conducted contacts and studies on the magnitude of the problems experienced by the province and the reasons for the current protests, but it is waiting for the right time to take the necessary action and end the crisis."
