"The reason for not visiting Kirkuk is for one reason," Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said. After the redeployment of Iraqi forces.
Kirkuk recorded a crisis between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region led to the occurrence of armed clashes between the two sides and the withdrawal of Peshmerga forces from the city, which includes several components and rich in oil.
"We have not visited Kirkuk yet because we do not want to score a point or a victory over any one of us, and Kirkuk is a city dear to us," Abadi said at his weekly conference.
"We have a high level of contact with the region, we have no objection to the political meetings with the region," Abadi said.
