    The parliamentary oil and energy committee on Wednesday accused the Ministry of Electricity of blocking its failure by selling electricity through investment.
    "The information available confirms the government's intention to privatize electricity and water without feeling the responsibility of the poor citizen," said Hussein al-Awad, a member of the committee.
    "The Ministry of Electricity has given production and distribution a partnership of investors to sell electricity to the consumer to fill the failure of the government."
