WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A group of retired American intelligence officers have sent a memo to the president's office expressing their concern that the US administration has raised hostility to Iran's Islamic Republic
The Washington Post published the memo, signed by 22 people under the banner of a group of professional intelligence officers and came in, that a number of colleagues refuted attempts by the administration of President George W. Bush in November 2007, to lay the foundations for a war on Iran after being accused of " Stands on the threshold of acquiring a nuclear weapon. "
The memo added that the intelligence experts referred to at the time made clear beyond doubt their report known as "national intelligence estimates" that Iran "stopped working on nuclear weapons in 2003".
US intelligence chief Trump said he was "facing similar conditions" for Bush's son's predecessor, who later acknowledged in his memoirs "Decision Stations" that he was not sure of a decision to "destroy nuclear facilities of a state that assessed the intelligence services that they did not have an effective weapons program Nuclear ".
The intelligence memo advised President Trump to reconsider the speech of his political administration to consider Iran to be at the forefront of the global sponsors of terrorism, "which we consider to be false and inaccurate, as we will show in the fold of the memorandum, especially considering the nature of the anti-American Islamic organizations, 13 of the 14 organizations are Sunni, not Shiite, and do not receive support from Iran. "

The memo also urged the president to "follow the example of former President Bush's son about 15 years ago, at a similar historical turning point," and correct the matter before the taboo.
