    [ltr]During a meeting with a delegation from the French Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri said that Iraq, after the demise of terrorism, is preparing for a new stage that preserves the rights of all, including minorities, and makes them equal before the law.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A statement by the Office of the Speaker of the Parliament, a copy of which was received by Al-Jubouri, received a delegation of Middle Eastern Christians in the French Senate headed by Bruno Rotayo, noting that the meeting discussed developments in Iraq and the region, The level of legislative institutions, and ways to open new horizons of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of counter-terrorism and bilateral coordination to prosecute the gangs and urging the criminal, in addition to the situation of Christians in Iraq. "[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Today, after the demise of terrorism, Iraq is preparing for a new stage that preserves the rights of all, including the minorities, and makes them equal before the law within the principle of citizenship," al-Jubouri said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He praised France's efforts to support Iraq in its confrontation with the terrorist groups and its humanitarian and relief support for the displaced. He expressed his hope that France would be present in the reconstruction of the liberated areas.[/ltr]
    [ltr]On their part, members of the delegation expressed their "congratulations on the occasion of the Iraqi army holiday and the great efforts and sacrifices it has made in defense of international peace and security." They concluded their country's keenness to expand cooperation with Iraq both in the face of terrorism and on the economic, trade and investment levels. / 6 N.[/ltr]
