Baghdad, / .. The Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary, on Thursday, that there are seven million employees need to secure and cover their salaries in the budget of 2018, indicating that the conditions of the International Monetary Fund raised unemployment rates in Iraq.
Committee member Najeeb Najib told "Iraq News" that "the federal government is facing major economic challenges," pointing out that "the IMF required the government not to allocate any degrees of employment for government institutions, raising the unemployment rates in a frightening manner."
Najib said that "there are seven million employees are from the military and civilians and the categories included in the Ministry of Labor and political prisoners and victims of terrorism they need to secure and cover their salaries in the budget of 2018."
"The four-year leave for employees will not address the problem of running graduates," she said. "The Ministry of Finance does not have the financial allocations to recruit graduates through degrees of deletion and development."
"In 2015, all appointments for graduates of colleges and institutes were stopped. There were only a few appointments for the ministries of interior, defense, education and health, which contributed to the rise in unemployment and the weakness of the government in dealing with economic crises." Finished
