Hashemi: Foreign intervention in the Iraqi elections limited to the money at the moment

BAGHDAD / The head of the Iraqi Group for Strategic Studies Wathiq al-Hashimi said on Saturday that the intervention of foreign countries in the upcoming elections is limited to providing funds at the moment, noting that some countries will work to return the three main houses Sunni, Shiite and Kurdish after the announcement of the results The election.
Al-Hashemi told "Iraq News" that "the intervention of foreign countries in the upcoming elections is limited to providing funds at the moment to the parties close to them," noting that "the money depends on the parties and political blocs to finance their campaigns and their propaganda whether the publication of posters or finance propaganda on The Internet as well as conferences and festivals. "
"The countries have not really interfered in the electoral alliances announced during the current period but they will intervene in the alliances that were adopted after the announcement of the election results," the head of the Iraqi Group for Strategic Studies said.
