Abadi meets with parliamentary finance today on budget amendments

BAGHDAD / The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Erez Abdullah, disclosed on Wednesday that there is a meeting of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi with the parliamentary finance committee on the amendments of the committee on the budget law and passing it in parliament.
"Abdullah told" Iraq News "that" the meeting will determine the participation of Kurdish blocs in the session of the House of Representatives or not, pointing out that Abadi can only meet the demands of the Kurds on the financial budget for 2018.
He added that "the change of figures share of the Kurds from the financial budget is not the powers of the House of Representatives or the Parliamentary Finance Committee."
It is noteworthy that the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri announced on Tuesday, to reach an agreement described as sick to all parties on the financial budget for 2018, but did not disclose the paragraphs that have been modified or resolve differences.
