[rtl]James Stavridis, the former top commander of NATO forces in Europe, called on Washington to take several steps, the most important of which is to focus on dividing Syria into several states similar to the Sudanese model. He also pointed to an international proposal to establish a federal system .[/rtl]

[rtl]Stavridis warned in an article published in Time magazine of the risk of permanently marginalizing America in a central region of the world because of non-interference in the game, and then suggests a number of steps that should be taken by Washington focused on broader US intervention and re-relations with Turkey and obstruct efforts Russia and the center of resistance to fight criminal groups through sanctions against Moscow .[/rtl]

[rtl]Stavridis' call for "serious consideration of the division of Syria," as in the Balkans and the Sudan, to deal with the brutal civil wars that have erupted in years, is stirring. "Although full success has not been achieved in both cases, most observers agree that the division is still better than the continuation of the war. "according to the claim .[/rtl]

[rtl]The former supreme commander of NATO proposed a federal system through an international diplomatic process, pointing out that this may be one of the options for discussion, especially because it does not mean complete separation, and this would allow the Alawites in eastern Syria to continue under President Assad and at the same time will allow A level of Sunni autonomy elsewhere .[/rtl]
