    A member of the parliamentary legal committee Sadiq al-Labban revealed the response of the Federal Court of Appeal filed on the voting session on the proposal to amend the law of elections of the Council of Representatives, which includes the allocation of 20% for those wishing to run for the elections of holders of the preparatory certificate and its equivalent. 

    Al-Labban said in a press statement that the Federal Court adopted in its reply this appeal to the information received from the House of Representatives on a quorum during the session. 

    The parliament voted on February 11 on the proposed amendment to the second law of the elections of the Council of Representatives, which includes the allocation of 20% of the candidates for the holders of the preparatory certificate and equivalent, and that the House of Representatives of the future of 329 seats, including 9 to Kota components, while a number of deputies objected to the appeal formally To the Federal Court of Iraq, on the voting session on the proposal to amend the law of elections of the House of Representatives.
