He said in a statement to Al-Sabah: "The bank has submitted a request for the central to increase the financial ceiling of personal loans of 50 billion dinars to reach 200 billion, in order to include non-home staff salaries in the bank." Availability of liquidity The general manager added that the total amount of personal loans granted amounted to 130 billion dinars, for more than 5 thousand transactions, according to the ceiling set by the central bank of the bank and 150 billion dinars. The Iraqi Trade Bank, according to the Director-General, looks at the channels in which lending is launched, both commercial and private, to the public and private sectors, stressing the status of the bank and its financial situation "positive" in providing liquidity and customer service. Personal loans are subject to a series of procedures, including the provision of a treatment to the employee concerned, who includes a written request for the loan, personal documents, salary certificate, support of the department and the transfer of the transaction from the branch to the credit department after obtaining approvals from the Central Bank. The Principle of Transparency He noted that the loan will be launched within a period of 3 weeks to one month from the date of the transaction, as the bank adopts the principle of transparency in the issuance of loans and granting them to the beneficiaries. The Director General stated that the mechanism of granting the loan is based on the calculation of the total salary of the employee. According to the instructions of the Central Bank, the deduction of the monthly premium shall not exceed 50% of the total salary. The amount of the loan granted shall be determined according to this percentage and the repayment period . Guarantees of lending The amount of loans starts from 10 million dinars to 50 million dinars on the bail of a state employee, and more than 50 million to 100 million dinars mortgage guarantee, the period of repayment of monthly installments for a maximum of 6 years. The capital of the Iraqi Bank for Trade is 230 million dollars, equivalent to 250 billion Iraqi dinars, achieving an annual profit rate in the year 2017 estimated at 900 billion Iraqi dinars, and the number of branches in Baghdad and the general Iraqi provinces 26 branches in addition to the representative office of the bank in the UAE Arabic. Hummis urges citizens to borrow from the Iraqi Trade Bank or other banks to invest the amount of the loan, especially the amounts of more than 50 million dinars in the right direction and not to waste money on goods and luxury wishes.
