The Director General of the Iraqi Bank for Trade TBI Faisal Al-Hims, on Tuesday, the granting of more than 5 thousand employees personal loans worth a total of 130 billion dinars, revealing a request to the Central Bank of Iraq to increase the ceiling of personal loans, to include non-national employees salaries in the bank Loans.
"The bank has submitted a central request to increase the financial ceiling of personal loans by 50 billion dinars to reach 200 billion, in order to include non-national employees salaries in the bank," Al-Homs said in a statement published by the official newspaper Al-Sabah.
He added that "the total amount of personal loans granted amounted to 130 billion dinars, for more than 5 thousand transactions, according to the ceiling set by the Central Bank of the bank of 150 billion dinars," noting that "the launch of the loan will be within the period of 3 weeks to one month of submission Treatment, where the bank depends on the principle of transparency in the launch of loans and grant them to those who deserve it.
The Director General said that "the mechanism of granting the loan depends on the basis of the calculation of the total salary of the employee, and in accordance with the instructions of the Central Bank, provided that the value of deductions for the monthly premium 50 percent of the total salary, and therefore determine the amount of the loan granted according to this ratio and the repayment period.
