    Information / Baghdad ..
The head of international affairs of Iran's national gas company, Behzad Babazadeh, announced on Saturday to raise the supply of gas to the Iraqi capital Baghdad to 14 million cubic meters per day soon.
"Iran currently pumps an average of 8.5 to 9 million cubic meters per day to Baghdad under the contract of May 21, 2018," said Babazadeh, quoted by Fares. "From this date onwards, the pass-through will reach 14 million meters Cube daily. "
According to an agreement between Iran and Iraq, the first phase of the export of gas to the two power plants in Baghdad and Basra started last year, so that Baghdad supplies gas from Iran daily through a pipeline from the station "Naft Shahr" export (western Iran).
The second phase will focus on the supply of gas to Basra via the Shalamja station (southwestern Iran), which will begin after dealing with financial obstacles from the Iraqi side. Ending / 25
