America and Britain agree on Iran and Syria[/size]

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that his country had agreed with Britain that Iran would not acquire nuclear weapons.
"Iran must not get nuclear weapons and we agree with Britain," Trump told a joint news conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May in London.
"We have a special relationship with Britain, which is an important relationship to maintain peace," he said, adding "they are keen to maintain strong trade relations between the United States and Britain."
"I will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday and I will talk to him about Ukraine and the Middle East and the spread of nuclear weapons," Trump said, stressing that "steps must be taken to counter the proliferation of nuclear weapons."
For her part, Mai said she discussed with Trump what can be done on the Iranian file, adding that "we agreed to show strength and unity in the face of Syria."
