Saudi Arabia closes account that threatened Canadians
The Canadian government's first comment on the expulsion of its ambassador from Saudi Arabia NB-243914-636692179283140525

closed the Ministry of Information Saudi Arabia "Saudi Arabia Anfujravek", a temporary account after the controversy raised by tweet included a picture of a Canadian aircraft heading towards Toronto in the composite image suggests the Sept. 11 attacks.

The design provoked controversy and accusations of Riyadh of threatening Canadawith the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Towers in New York in 2001.

The design featured a Canadian civil plane flying towards the CN Tower in Toronto with the words "nuzzles its nose in what it does not mean" Arab says: who interferes with what does not mean he did not satisfy him.

Social networking activists considered the design a threat to Canada.

Saudi Arabia's "Infografic" was forced to delete the tweet and describe it as "unapproved." He wrote: "The account published an unsuccessful picture in a previous tweet and some observers misinterpreted it and deleted it as inappropriate and totally incompatible with the comments."

Relations between Saudi Arabia and Canada have been strained since Riyadh accused the Canadian foreign minister and her embassy in the kingdom of interfering in Saudi Arabia's internal affairs.

It led to the expulsion of the Canadian ambassador to Riyadh and recalled its ambassador to Canada for consultations.
