The Ministry of Education condemned on Friday the theft and burning of "saboteurs" two schools belonging to the raising of the third [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in Baghdad, while appreciating the efforts of the security forces to arrest the perpetrators.
"My Hassan al-Askari and black gold schools belonging to the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] IIIDirectorate of Education in Baghdad have been robbed and burned by some of the rioters who are fighting for science and culture," the ministry's information office said in a statement .
"The security forces managed, after a few hours of this disgraceful act, to arrest the perpetrators of the operation," adding that "the detainees were incarcerated in prison to receive their punishment in return for their actions."
Many schools have been subjected to theft and burning of property for a while. Security forces are able to arrest the perpetrators of most of these operations.
