Qatari political analyst Ali al-Hill revealed on Thursday his country's efforts to restore political and economic ties with Iraq.
"The return of the bilateral relations between Doha and Baghdad will be close as they are oil-rich countries," Hill told al-Maaloumah.
He added that "cooperation between the two countries can contribute to the return of life to Iraq through the recovery of its economy and the lives of some Iraqi provinces suffer from daily demonstrations due to the decline of the Iraqi economy."
"The return of political, economic and social relations between the two countries will contribute to resolving many of the outstanding problems in the region and remove tensions," he said.
