(Baghdad: Euphrates News) announced the Border Ports Authority, on Thursday, the proceeds of revenues achieved at sea ports for the last three months (June - July).
The revenues of these months "amounted to more than 309 billion dinars, while revenues for the same months of last year 2017 more than 137 billion dinars."
He pointed out that "through this we note the large difference in imports between last year and the current and the difference over the increase of more than 172 billion dinars, with the proposal that the difference mentioned increase in revenue includes customs fees only, except tax.
The statement added that "the achievement of a qualitative boom in revenues came as a result of the measures taken by the Border Crossing Authority since it received maritime ports in the fight against smuggling and smugglers and those who exceed the public money and follow-up field and meetings with the managers of ports."
