Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi reiterated on Tuesday that the government is continuing its responsibilities until the last day of the formation of the new government, pointing out that Iraq needs to create jobs and support investment.

"In terms of violations and recent security incidents, we are generally pursuing lawbreakers and arresting dangerous networks and a number of criminal gangs," Abbadi said in a speech at the weekly conference.

Abadi stressed that "the government is in charge until the last day of the formation of the new government," pointing out that "Iraq needs to create jobs and support investment."
