    announced on Sunday that it would present a plan to extend railways with the Gulf states via Jordan . 

    According to the website of "Russia Today", "Israeli Communications Minister Yisrael Katz will head to Oman next week at the invitation of his Omani counterpart Ahmed Al-Futtaisi to participate in an international conference on transport." 

    "During the conference, Katz will present a plan to extend rail links between Israel and the Gulf region ," he said. "This is the first time that an Israeli minister has participated in an international conference in Amman.




    Shimon Aran, editor of the Israeli broadcaster "Makan", published a tweet on Twitter accompanied by a railway network plan. He said that according to the plan, the train would leave Haifa to Beit She'an and from there to the Sheikh Hussein and Irbid crossing in Jordan, "He said.
