(Reuters) - US President Donald Trump rejected last night that the withdrawal of his country's troops from Syria would affect Israel.
In an interview with reporters after his visit to Iraq, Trump confirmed Washington's firm stand on the side of Israel, pointing out that US aid to Israel amounts to more than four billion and five hundred million dollars annually.
"Israel is defending itself very well," he said.
