[rtl]The Canadian immigration agency has hired a guard to secure the safety of Saudi girl Rahaf Mohammed, who has been granted asylum in the country after fleeing her family, abandoning her "safe" nickname.[/rtl]

[rtl]Mario Kalla, executive director of the Canadian immigrant assistance agency Kosti, said the girl had received threats over the Internet and the agency had secured a guard to "ensure that she was not alone."[/rtl]

[rtl]"It is difficult to determine the seriousness of these threats, but we take them very seriously," the official said.[/rtl]

[rtl]The 18-year-old girl, who abandoned the family name, settled in Toronto, Canada, after fleeing her family for fear of her life.[/rtl]

[rtl]The girl published a statement saying she wanted to "live a normal life like any other girl in Canada," and thanked the authorities that granted her asylum, and the way she fled to Toronto.[/rtl]
