China has agreed to increase imports of US goods and expand cooperation in the field of intellectual property protection, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
"The two sides attach great importance to intellectual property protection and technology transfer issues and have agreed to strengthen cooperation," the statement said.
Beijing also agreed in talks Wednesday and Thursday to increase imports of "US agricultural products, energy products and industrial goods."
The statement said the two sides held "honest, accurate and fruitful talks".
For his part, US President Donald Trump said Thursday that "tremendous progress" has been achieved in the trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing, which seek a settlement that ends the trade war between them.
