- Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi called on Sunday for the Iraqi people to contribute to the building of their country, pointing to the ambitious curriculum set by the Iraqi government as a platform to serve the aspirations of the people. 

"The Prime Minister met with the sons of the Iraqi community residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt at the Iraqi Embassy in Cairo and listened to their views, suggestions and demands and responded directly to them," the Prime Minister's Information Office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News. To hold this meeting during his official visit to Egypt, and called on everyone to exercise their responsibility to combat the phenomena of poverty and unemployment and the tomb of sectarianism and eliminate the presence of arms outside the state and promote stability and civil peace, and called on the Iraqi talent to contribute to the construction of their country.

The office added that "at the beginning of the meeting, Abdul Mahdi renewed condolences to all Iraqis with the tragedy of the ferry in the city of Mosul." 

The office quoted Abdul Mahdi as saying in a speech to the community that "Iraq is achieving continuous successes with the strength and determination of the Iraqis who have exceeded the unity of all odds." 

The office continued, "The Prime Minister reviewed in his speech the developments in Iraq, foremost of which is the victory over Daqash, whose positive results are not limited to security and stability in the region, noting that" defeating a fan in Syria would not have happened if not for the Iraqi victory. "
